The Postal Peter Principle"In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence" was the premise of Dr. Laurence J. Peter in his 1968 book The Peter Principle. If you've been employed by the USPS for any length of time, you may recognize the Postal Peter Principle: A Postal employee will rise to his/her level of incompetence, then get promoted to greater levels of incompetence in (mis)management positions.

Some Jokes:A Maintenance Manager and his peon-puppet were walking down the street, when they spotted an ad in a window: "Lake Tahoe Cruises - 3 Days - All Meals & Drinks for $99.00". The MM's P-P said, "WOW, lets do it!" and the MM agreed. Each paid his $99, and as they walked out the door, they were smacked over the head and knocked out. They awoke in the middle of Lake Tahoe, strapped to a big log. The PP sarcastically snarled, "Well I wonder if they have room service on this Fabulous Cruise?" The MM said, "Hmmm, they didn't the last time."What do you call a smart jarhead? An oxymoron.
What do you call a postal
manager / jarhead wannabe?
Just a moron.
Some Things I've Learned From Observing Postal Mis-Managers: Just because a person has spent a lot of time around doctors while detoxing or while in rehab, doesn't make that person a doctor. Give an idiot some information and he may regard himself as a genius, but ultimately, he is still just an idiot. Postal Manager: postal employee with a lot more ego and ambition than intelligence and compassion! WORLD TERROR ATTACKS UP SHARPLYTop of Page |
